Open Position: Stone Material Restorer (Ministerial Qualification)
Looking for a Cultural Heritage Restorer specializing in stone, natural, and artificial materials.
The selected candidate will join our technical team and work on prestigious restoration projects in Trieste, contributing to the preservation of historical and artistic heritage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analysis of the state of conservation of artifacts and diagnosis of deterioration.
Cleaning, pre-consolidation, consolidation, and surface protection.
Filling, integration, and micro-integration.
Drafting of technical site documentation (restoration reports, photographic reports).
Collaboration with the technical management and other professionals involved in the project.
Essential requirement:
Registration in the Ministry of Culture (MiC) list of Cultural Heritage Restorers pursuant to Article 182 of Legislative Decree 42/2004, in area of expertise 2: "Stone, mosaic, and derivative materials." Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
Preferred requirements:
Proven experience of at least 2 years in monumental restoration sites.
Excellent manual skills and knowledge of the latest restoration methods and materials.
Ability to work in a team and independently.
Driver's license and willingness to travel.
