GALLERY MANAGER – MILAN / PIETRASANTA
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The gallery is looking for a Gallery Manager who can work in two locations—Milan and Pietrasanta—with the prospect of medium-term growth toward a management role at the Tuscan location.
During the winter months, the candidate will mainly work from the Milan office, contributing to commercial development and relations with collectors, architects, and partners.
From May to September, however, a more continuous presence in Pietrasanta will be required for the operational and commercial management of the gallery during the summer season.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote the commercial development of the gallery, managing sales to private collectors and B2B projects in Milan and Tuscany.
Expand and consolidate the gallery's portfolio of contacts for sales and collaboration purposes.
Ensure the quality of the image and presentation standards of the gallery and the artists it represents.
Monitor the economic performance of activities, preparing periodic reports for management.
Supervise and coordinate the work of the gallery assistant based in Pietrasanta, promoting effective and results-oriented collaboration.
Adobe and WordPress;
General knowledge of the contemporary art system.
REQUIREMENTS
Significant experience (minimum 3 years) as an art gallery director or assistant.
Master's degree in art, economics, or related disciplines, with knowledge of the contemporary art market.
Excellent written and spoken language skills.
Fluent English; a second foreign language is welcome.
Knowledge of the contemporary art system and sales dynamics.
Excellent command of Microsoft Office; knowledge of the Adobe package will be considered a plus.

CONTRACT AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Salary commensurate with experience.
Candidates with a VAT number are preferred.
