GENT48

Gent48 (Josh Billingham) is a writer and street artist originally from Birmingham (UK), who has been active for over 15 years. A leading figure on the British urban scene, Gent48 combines traditional graffiti, illustration, and realistic painting in works ranging from bold lettering to stylized characters and realistic portraits. Influenced by his stay in Melbourne in 2013 and his experience with the Australian collective SDM, he uses urban art to transform marginal spaces into places of beauty and social communication. He has participated in major international festivals such as the Ono'u Festival (French Polynesia) and Bring the Paint (UK), and is a protagonist of the Birmingham Graffiti Trail, leaving a visual and social mark on the urban community.
